Incident with Scheduled Gift Processing

On 4/3/23 the team identified that there was an issue with the processing of scheduled gifts in Online Giving.

The process was running much slower than it should have been, which resulted in collisions with other processes. This caused multiple bad data situations within the database.

The team resolved the problem and the bad data conditions. Mitigation items were identified and added to the team's backlog to ensure this type of issue doesn't happen again.
